This listing is for a vintage ceramic cobalt blue demitasse cup and saucer set by Richard Ginori with sterling silver overlay.  The body and overlay design have a sort of spinning pinwheel with panels of barley sprigs.  The cup has a hard to read sticker inside.  The sticker indicates that the overlay is .925 sterling silver.  A mark on the base of the saucer has a crown over the name Richard Ginori.  The ceramic is Italian.

Looking at the foot of the cup and saucer, the ceramic has a reddish tone possibly indicative of iron in the clay.

The cup and saucer together are just over 2 inches tall.  The saucer has a diameter of about 4-3/4 inches.

The cup and saucer are both in good condition overall.  There is a slight patina to the silver overlay.  No chips or cracks.  There are a couple very small spots where the silver overlay peeled up.  Please see photos.
