The K&N Typhoon Performance Air Intake System replaces the Accord's restrictive factory air filter and intake tube with a mandrel-bent mirror silver aluminum design engineered to dramatically reduce airflow restriction. K&N's own dyno testing shows gains of 6.1 horsepower and 6.1 lb-ft of torque at 5410 RPM.
The system pairs with K&N's washable, reusable High-Flow red cotton gauze filter in an oversized conical design, protected by a custom heat shield or air box that keeps hot engine bay air away from the filter. Built to only need cleaning every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions.
Backed by K&N's No-Hassle Lifetime Limited Warranty -- will not void your manufacturer vehicle warranty. Note: not legal for sale or use in California or other CARB-adopting states. Replacement filter is part RU-5163XD.
