Welcome to my auction.

Item specifics

Antique Japanese postcard (1907–1918) portraying a Kabuki Onnagata (female-role actor) with refined elegance and soft expression.
Printed in woodblock-style color (collotype with hand-coloring) on washi-textured paper.
Her gentle gaze and delicate pink tones evoke the grace and melancholy of early 20th-century stage aesthetics.
The reverse side features the “Kumadori” mask logo, typical of postcards issued by Kabuki theaters during the Taisho era.
Some stains and foxing due to age, but overall well preserved.
An excellent collectible piece representing the beauty of Meiji–Taisho Kabuki portraiture.
