• The Tulsa Tribune Eighty Years of History, is a fascinating journalistic pictorial history of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and then the entire world through the complete front pages of The Tulsa Tribune, Tulsa's evening newspaper for more than 100 years before it ended in 1992.
  • Today, this long-out-of-print giant volume is quite collected. Measures about 10.5 inches wide and 14.5 inches tall, this 148-page volume is quite unique. The size of the volume was required so that the entire front page of The Tribune could be read on each page.
  • This book offers a comprehensive look at the events, people, and stories that have shaped the newspaper and the city of Tulsa. Perfect for history buffs and collectors, this publication provides a valuable insight into the past of Oklahoma and its regional media.
  • Condition: A giant vintage softcover volume with all pages and covers still attached. Some rolling is present of the lower-right hand corner and mild age foxing inside and out is present. No writing is present. Light creases and rubs with perhaps a light stain or two appear on the covers, but nothing severe at all. The illustrations and text are as crisp and clear as the day this jewel rolled off the press.  Some stiffness is present in the covers and pages due to the 45 years that have gone by since its publication.
