For your consideration is a great English sterling silver Pierced Jam Spoon, made by Francis Higgins 2nd, London, circa 1852. Made of very heavy gauge cast silver. Neat clusters of Grapes, Vines, and Leaves comprise the Handle of this piece, and neat etched Grape designs in Scalloped gold washed Bowl Portion. This Spoon is in excellent condition and retains it’s original bright Gold wash interior. This is like a time capsule find. This piece has not been Monogrammed. Original tooled leather box is in very good condition. Box has a tooled Leather Name inscribed “CAROLINE PATTERSON”, and a Paper Retailer label for Canfield Brothers & Co Jewelers Baltimore, MD.
