Product Description

The Bilstein 25‑331882 is a high-performance, custom / universal shock absorber from their B8 5165 series. It’s designed primarily for lifted or heavily modified trucks and SUVs where standard shock mounting and travel may not be suitable. Thanks to its remote reservoir, it holds more fluid to help dissipate heat during sustained off-road runs, improving its reliability and damping consistency.

With a 46 mm monotube piston and gas-charged internals, this shock offers strong, fade-free control across a wide travel range — from 11.8″ (retracted) up to 19.2″ (extended), depending on your build. The 360° swivel banjo fitting on the reservoir hose simplifies installation and gives flexibility when choosing where to mount the reservoir.

Built tough with zinc plating to resist corrosion, this shock is ideal for custom suspension setups, long-travel off-road rigs, or any application where a universal remote-reservoir shock is needed. Its fixed valving keeps things simple and rugged, and Bilstein’s proven design ensures longevity.
