Dating to the late early 20th century, these novelty bells were popular in Art deco and later seaside resorts and gentlemen’s desk interiors.

The shell displays a strong iridescent nacre (mother-of-pearl) sheen, and the bell mechanism is in working order, producing a clear ring when the knob is turned.

Condition:

Very good for its age. Light wear and patina to the metal top from age and use. The shell is well preserved with no cracks. Fully functional.

Measures: 4'' x 3'' x 4'' h
