I’m an ostomate and I use a Foley drainage bag every night. I usually just hang the bag on the side of my bed. One morning I woke up and the overnight urine had drained out of my bag and soiled and soaked into the carpet!! What a MESS!! I forgot to latch the drainage tube. So not to wanting this to happen again, I decided to design and sew a cover bag that is both water repellent and waterproof. I not only use this in my home but also when I travel visiting friends & family, in hotels and cruise ships.

Use a damp cloth to wipe the exterior cover and interior. Do not machine wash. If urine accidentally gets inside the bag, wash interior with mild soapy water and gently rinse. Dry interior with paper towel.

2 straps, sewn to secure, sturdy Velcro fastener to hang bag to bedside, walker, wheelchair, power chair, chair. Packable for travel. Convenient to use when traveling.

Bedside instructions:

1. Place sturdy hanger between box spring & mattress leaving ½ inch of length visible.

2. Place drainage bag in cover bag & straps over the hanger(the bag hook can hook onto the hanger also). Secure the Velcro straps.

In addition, this bag can be used on a walker, power chair and wheelchair to carry items.
