Beautiful antique French porcelain apothecary mortar, circa 1890–1920. Made from high-fired white porcelain with a crisp four-lobe form, once used in European pharmacies for compounding herbs and powders. The glossy white glaze shows authentic age crazing visible under UV light, confirming its early production. Either unmarked or mark is covered by glaze, but consistent with Pillivuyt or Coquet Limoges laboratory ware from the late 19th to early 20th century.

Condition:
Excellent antique condition with no cracks or repairs. Some light wear and minor discoloration to interior. The interior and foot ring show light, honest wear from age and use. Glaze crazing consistent with age is present. Displays beautifully in farmhouse kitchens, French country décor, or apothecary collections.

Measurements:
4” diameter (5.25” across rim tips)
2.5” tall
