I acquired this a few years ago from a friend who had purchased it from the original owner in the early 1990s.  When the original owner was a young kid he neatly cut away Mantle from the rest of the card.  The black background is from a black piece of paper used for scanning.  This card has been skinned too.  If only he had left the scissors in the drawer...Anyway, I purchased it because despite missing part of the card I thought it was still eye catching and still conveys the majestic sentiment that come with any 52 Topps Mantle.  Any questions, please send a message.
