Loc3 Series Transmitter Rechargeable Battery Kit Overview:

A Loc3 Series Transmitter Li-ion Rechargeable Battery kit includes a tray and charger for your transmitter.   Doing so replaces the default alkaline tray that comes standard with the Vivax Metrotech transmitter.  With this upgrade, you can have a more convenient and budget-friendly method of powering your transmitter for the day’s activities.  This is because you will reduce the purchase of alkaline batteries.  The Loc3-5 Transmitter uses 8 D-Cell Alkaline batteries, and the Loc3-10 Transmitter uses 12.  You can see in the chart below the time that each unit will run on these alkaline batteries vs. the li-ion tray.

Not only is it more cost-effective, but if you upgrade to this option, you will also reduce the transmitter’s weight to just 7.15 pounds.  So, you’re able to carry a lighter transmitter and have it work for a longer period of time without having to change batteries.
