The SMC digital pressure switch for vacuum can be set to turn the pump on and off as needed. It is a nice pump, very quiet compared to a diaphragm pump. You will need a DC 12V to 24V step up converter at least 10A 240W if you plan to use this as a 12V automotive brake booster pump.
