Product Description

The Manley 614000C-4 is a Platinum Series set of four forged pistons for the Mitsubishi 4B11T 2.0L in the 2008–2015 Lancer Evolution X, at standard 86.00mm bore and 9.0:1 compression ratio. The -5cc dish crown is designed for forced induction builds where lower compression is needed to control detonation under boost. The 2618 aluminum alloy provides the tensile strength and thermal fatigue resistance required for sustained high-boost turbocharged applications where the 4032 alloy found in economy piston sets would fail prematurely.

Moly coated skirts reduce friction and seizure risk during break-in and long-term operation. The offset wrist pin design reduces piston slap on cold starts. Manley's "one fixturing" ring groove machining process holds perfect groove-to-skirt squareness, maximizing ring seal and power output. Total Seal steel top rings with Napier second rings, chrome moly wrist pins, and round wire locks are all included -- no additional ring or pin purchase required. Companion ring set only: Manley 46860-4. Recommended piston clearance .0035" measured 1.100" from the bottom of the oil ring.
