Bay Con 1 comic convention 1975 Progress Report 1 / Original / This comic convention was held at the Claremont Hotel in the Berkeley Hills.  This booklet was prepared by the late Gary Arlington, manager of The San Francisco Comic Book Co. on 23rd St. in San Francisco.  He was presumably a driving force in the creation of this comic book convention, as the owner of what was at the time the preeminent comic book shop in the Bay Area.  It's reported that he and artists Rick Griffin and R. Crumb worked together in promoting the "underground" comix scene at the time. / Booklet is in Excellent condition.  Light fading at edges.  Light handling. / 5.5" x 7.5"
