The Wiseco K649M845 is a professional-series piston set built for high-performance Honda B-series engines (B18, B20). Crafted from aerospace-grade 2618 aluminum, these forged pistons deliver exceptional strength and durability while maintaining lightweight characteristics (~326 g each). The ArmorGlide® skirt coating helps reduce friction and piston noise, improving longevity and efficiency.
The dished crown design keeps the compression ratio manageable (~8.9:1 or 9.3:1, depending on variant), making this piston set ideal for high-performance naturally aspirated builds or mild forced-induction setups. The strutted forging structure increases durability, especially in high-RPM conditions, while forced-pin oiling ensures adequate lubrication to the wrist pin area to minimize wear.
Installation must include checking piston-to-wall clearance and verifying deck height. Because the pin diameter is 21 mm, it’s important to ensure compatible connecting rods. This set comes with a performance ring set (8450XX), making it a ready-to-install solution for race or serious street builds in Honda B18 or B20 engines.
