DESCRIPTION

To celebrate the Williams team's
history in the world of F1, these box frame artworks have been created. The Williams logo is actually cut from the left hand sidepod from the 2013 FW35, as driven by Valtteri Bottas in his debut season in Formula 1, you can see the honeycomb construction of the F1 bodywork on the edges which is a really interesting touch and often unrealised construction method of an F1 car.

This limited edition of the FW35 tribute frames, marks  the teams 44 year run as F1 team owner  as well as his 114 victories in Formula 1 and features a custom designed backdrop where I have incorporated the colours of some of the team's most iconic liveries. It also features the William's classic logo below the carbon fibre current logo.

Each logo is mounted atop a cystom designed art backdrop featuring a design which takes inspiration from some of the most iconic and well loved liveries Williams have run throughout their tenure in the sport.

I think you will agree that these are something a bit special to have from probably the greatest independent team in F1, yet sadly with the sale of the team and the ever so sad passing of the legend, this era is now over, but this is a lovely way to remember it.

As you can see from the pictures, each cut out logo will be slightly different, albeit the same shape and cut, but as its a race used piece, the paintwork has the odd scratch, stonechip etc... every one still looks mega though!

Each of the 10 pieces in this edition will be hand signed and numbered as well as partnered with a signed and numbered ariT1ed art card COA.

The frames are glass glazed and will be carefully packaged for shipping  They measure in at 25x25cm. Each frame can either be wall hung on the attached mount or can even freestanding due to its thickness.

These listings are to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis charities I support, so you're not just getting something very cool for yourself, you're helping many people.

Postage will either be by courier un the UK with full tracking and insurance, or if sending internationally, by ebay' global shipping programme, again gully tracked and insured.

WHY I DO THIS
Having witnessed the waste produced by Formula One over the past 20 years I decided
that I could make a difference and at the same time give fans of the sport a unique
opportunity to own the ultimate in F1 memorabilia. There are stories about fields in
southern England having shipping containers packed full of F1®  cars and parts being buried, certainly this was true of teams up the early 2000's. More recently many teams archive parts, but these archives have to be emptied, many items are destroyed (see the secretly filmed video of what one of the largest teams in F1®  do when clearing out their archives) and due to their inability to be recycled, are put into landfill, something which will only have a huge detrimental effect to our environment in the future. Below I have embedded video of what McLaren do with their parts they no longer have a use for, pretty saddening and shocking that so much material like this ends up in landfill.

ABOUT ME
I had always wanted to do something about the waste our sport creates, when about 15 years ago the idea of selling obsolete, damaged, scrapped car parts came to mind. I didn't want to just sell on the parts on as is, I wanted to give my fellow fans the chance of owning the best memorabilia I could possibly offer and with my arts background I found that these F1®  car parts really leant themselves to being redesigned and re-purposed into something new, something beautiful, something cool.
Over the years however I have had to call a halt to this process due the ongoing battle I'm having with Multiple Sclerosis and the inability to physically be able to put these gifts together. Right now I am having periods of good health which enable me to get back to doing what I absolutely love, the design and manufacturing of upcycled F1®  car part gifts. I am using this opportunity to give something back to the organisations which have helped not only myself, but every single person with MS to maintain, manage and cope with the symptoms this illness presents.

POSTAGE
Due to the Royal Mail losing so many parcels and the increase in scam buyers I have been forced into sending all parcels by recorded delivery and as such I can no longer offer a free postage method. I'm trying to find an alternative courier service but in the meantime I will make sure to only charge what is quoted and where I can, I'll try and be cheaper than what the Royal Mail quotes.

UK Postage-  Postage within the UK will be sent via 2nd class signed for. If however, you require a speedier  method of postage then please select 1st class recorded upon completing your order.

International Shipping- I will ship worldwide, if you can't see a price for the country you reside in then
please message me before bidding and I will get a shipping quote sent over ASAP.
