Fresh from a local estate sale.  Learned that the underlying knife here is a KERSHAW 1035 Moose Hunter Knife Made in Japan, early 2000's I believe.  A fairly rare knife to begin with that has a beautiful scene etched onto the blade.  I believe it's an etching for the black and a Gold wash/plating on the yellow areas.  It depicts a Pheasant hunting scene with a bird dog, hunter with shot gun and Pheasants in flight.  Kershaw limited edition with display box.  Fixed blade hunting knife with 6" blade, also listed elsewhere as 5.5".  Overall length is between 10-3/4" and 11".  As a special it doesn't have a 1035 marking, just Kai Japan.   Serial number 0228/1000.  No apologies whatsoever.  Nice laser engraved wood box, which only has a few, tiny signs of age.  Box is missing one rubber foot.  Please see the pictures for the condition of this item.
