CHURCH’S DERBY – BROWN – UK 7.5 – ADWELL R - EXCELLENT CONDITION

A very fine pair of Custom Grade, six-eyelet plain-front derby shoes in beautiful brown calf leather from Church’s – easily dressed-up or dressed-down. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). This pair feature Church’s neat semi-rubber soles. This is quite a rare design to find and you will be very unlucky to meet anyone else wearing the same shoes as you – always a nice feeling, I think. This pair were originally sold as ‘subs’ but I do not know why that was.

But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!

The style is ‘Adwell R’ – an elegant and traditional five-eyelet derby. This pair were formed on the elegant 135 Last.

The width fitting is ‘F’ - which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.

The shoes feature calf leather uppers, full leather linings, ‘Church’s’ semi-rubber soles and all the hand-built quality one would expect from Church’s.

Wonderful quality shoes from a traditional English shoemaker.
