Wings 2017 Oslo, Norway 1st ed, 376pp., magnificently illustrated text - which is mainly in Norwegian though with sections in English - generally sound albeit with slight "waviness" to pages, very slight staining to the page extremities at the very top & bottom - heavier to those at the side, spine slightly cocked & boards slightly bowed, slight bumping & rubbing to board corners & to the top, bottom & sides of boards - heavier to the top & bottom of the spine & adjacent corners (especially to the rear top & bottom right hand corners), slight bumping & rubbing to spine edges on front & rear, elsewhere both boards & spine are slightly bumped & marked, the dust jacket has slight internal staining plus rubbing & creasing to the top of the inside front blurb & bottom of the inside rear blurb, externally there is rubbing & creasing to the top of the front, bottom of the rear & to the top & bottom of the spine with a tiny tear to the base of the spine, slight creasing to the front left hand side - heavier to the rear right hand side, both covers (especially the rear) & spine have many marks & scratches.
Volume VII is the final tome in Cato Guhnfeldt's epic series of seven books about the operations of 331 and 332 Squadrons during WWII. The collection is a must for anyone interested in the heroic efforts of Norwegian Spitfire Squadrons in the Second World War. The books are in Norwegian but with added English captions and summaries. The photographs alone are enough by themselves to own any of these very rare volumes!
