Poignant image capturing tornado devastation to a family's farm in Petersburg Nebraska. This is one of two glass negatives I'm listing in separate auctions. Neither is dated and could be a slightly earlier or later date.

We know the family's name on this farm. I looked up C.E. Lockwood and found some online remembrances of a C.E. Lockwood in Petersburg NE. There are also remnants of boards on the ground that spell out the Lockwood name. I see no less than the hint of five dogs in the picture and the little girl also holds a kitten. A powerful portrait.
