Rare and stunning  mid-century painfully and artistically handblown Italian art glass large chalice like form art glass attributed to Empoli / Murano-style workshops of the 1960s–1970s. The design features a bold amber oval bowl over a clear pedestal stem with colorful swirled ribbon inclusions in red, green, white, and dark tones. The glass is thick and heavy 6 1/2 lb and heavy, showcasing quality craftsmanship typical of Italian decorative glass of the era.
