Funky Christmas / Everyday Funky
Most of this was found in Nana’s Present Room after she passed. The rest of it is mine, as I was a Girl Scout Hot Glue Gun Crafting Leader Mom. The stuff I bought is 15 years old. Most of Nana’s is vintage. 90% of it is NEW and UNUSED. This is all small stuff with nominal value, mostly only valuable to kids.
Following Nana’s final wishes to sell all her things, as listed in her will, we tried having a garage sale. She lived out in the country: only a few people came and one person stole things. Obviously, a garage sale wasn’t going to work. So we packed everything up, put it in storage and are now trying to fulfill her wishes so the proceeds can be disbursed. We are not making a penny off her items. My items are priced to get them out of my house :)
We are hoping people will buy some of this for stocking stuffers or art projects or whatever. We’re still opening her boxes and more little stuff will be added to the end of the list.
We are within a mile of grocery shopping (Ann Arbor Saline Meijers) and are home almost all the time. If you want to come by and check this out in person, like an indoor garage or porch sale, please do. We’d love it!
If you want it sent to you, our shipping is set to the heaviest weight. The USPS rates go up every lb. which is why the weight is listed for every item. The price is at the end.
And if you are looking at any or our large Christmas listings, we’d be happy to combine shipping and we NEVER charge extra than what the USPS label says.

For listings that have multiple items, the shipping is set up for the largest item. That might NOT be what you would pay. Each item has info on the measurements and the weight and USPS has a ‘find the Ground Advantage cost link (cheapest). That will tell you exactly what it should be from my zip to yours. Either just pay and get a refund, or ask for an invoice and tell me which item you want and I’ll send you the correct price. Also, please note, eBay only lets you request an invoice from a computer, NOT your phone. We ALWAYS return extra shipping money and ALWAYS combine shipping!
We are attempting to figure out how to lower buyer costs for shipping. We think Ground Advantage does that, according to eBay forums. We are also under the impression that the more we sell with Ground Advantage, the lower the cost will be that we can pass on to the buyer. So far we have sold many Ground Advantage, but the discount, if any, varies tremendously. For example, one person got 10 cents and the second label was lowered from the original price eBay quoted me and the client was refunded an extra $1.61. The next couple may get nothing. There is no rhyme or reason to this. Sigh. Either way, we ONLY CHARGE for the actual cost of selling and will return any extra money, whatever that is, when we buy the label. And the label always tells you the price paid.
We are humbly requesting any feedback you can give us when you see your shipping options. Is there a lesser priced choice you see? We will gladly change to any shipping method you want so we can get you any savings possible. As noted below, we ALWAYS return any extra costs other than the actual shipping costs printed by the postage meter. We truly appreciate any information you can give us.
We do FREE LOCAL PICKUP all the time. Ebay just changed their policy that it has to be greater than 5 miles. WTH! We don’t care if you live across the street; if you can come get it, it is yours and any shipping $ will be credited!
Ebay has fixed our shipping and has enabled invoices on our account. If you request an invoice, we will figure out the combined shipping and send the invoice to you for payment.
If any of our items are in various multiple carts, it is eBay’s policy to consider the sale goes to whoever pays for it first. We just wanted to point that out because we are not a business selling 100’s if the same item. We have very few duplicates. Sorry!
PLEASE NOTE: For absolutely no reason, eBay keeps changing the formatting on multiple listings which makes pictures un-viewable. We are asking, if you see one of our listings with missing pictures and blank spaces, please shoot us a note that tells us, so we can 1) send pictures to you via message if you want them and/or 2) go back into the listing and fix it AGAIN. PLEASE NOTE: Because eBay is composed of soulless, bloodsucking monsters, and because it is forcing us to use an ISBN number for a book that DOES NOT have an ISBN number, and even when it DOES have an ISBN, still won’t let us use it, so we use one of a random book. Our book is pre-ISBN numbers. The Library of Congress number is not in the book. The LOC does not hyphenate when you put the number in to verify. Fake ISBN number is 9781014236289. Correct ISBN number is non-existent. We put in whichever one the system will take. Sorry!
Please NOTE: We live in Michigan and it is winter. Even in the summer, we still have darker pictures because of how the house is placed on the lot. We have the Lake Effect almost every day – massive cloud cover. We are doing the best we can with interior lighting for the pictures.

Note: We are running out of estate books and will be slowly changing over to their other possessions – some serious, some MCM, some just funky, or kitschy. Others are Depression era. Some will be brand new items, still in their packaging, and others will be more mainstream books (from one of the Grandma’s) or some of our personal books or collectables, as we are not leaving this mess to our kids. Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag unless stipulated differently in the listing. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always combine shipping and refund the extra cost if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up!
