The Label Helper Tool is a practical label applicator designed for small makers, candle makers, skincare brands, home fragrance makers, jam makers, preserve makers and small product businesses.

It gives your container a steady resting position and provides a repeatable height guide, helping each label sit in the same position across your batch.

Label Size Guidance

Label suitability depends on the container diameter, label shape and label material.

As a general guide, labels around 40mm or wider across the application direction are usually easier to apply on smaller jars, tins and bottles, where the curve is tighter.

On larger containers, such as many 30cl candle jars with an outer diameter around 76–80mm, narrower labels may still work well because the curve is gentler.

Very narrow portrait labels can be harder to apply cleanly, especially on smaller containers, as they may have less contact with the guide while being applied.

How to Use

1. Place your jar or bottle in the cradle.
2. Use the riser blocks if needed.
3. Set your label height using the rear metric scale.
4. Line up your label against the guide.
5. Press the first edge of the label onto the container.
6. Smooth the label on while gently rotating the jar.

Choosing Your Hand Orientation

Choose the version based on the hand you use to press and slide the label onto the container.

Right-handed version:
The guide sits on the left side of the tool. Hold the tool steady with your left hand and use your right hand to apply the label.

Left-handed version:
The guide sits on the right side of the tool. Hold the tool steady with your right hand and use your left hand to apply the label.
