Original vintage USO / Pan Am Armed Forces Entertainment flyer promoting Pearl Bailey’s USO Show with Louie Bellson and The Louie Bellson Quartet. Estimated to date from circa 1973–1975, based on the musician lineup and Pan Am’s sponsorship as the official airline of the USO in Europe during that period.
This historic flyer features classic duotone printing with the bold red “USO SHOW” headline and artist photos, including Pearl Bailey and Louie Bellson in performance. Supporting musicians listed include Don Menza, Frank Tate, Larry Novak, and Eddie Duran—each a noted jazz performer active in Bellson’s early 1970s touring band.
1973–1975 – confirmed by lineup and “PAN AM is the Official Airline of the USO in Europe” imprint, a phrase retired by the late 1970s.
Original vintage paper flyer. Exhibits light age toning and minor handling wear but remains in very good display condition. No tears, stains, or writing unless noted. Carefully stored and preserved for over 45 years.
A rare and authentic piece of USO and Jazz history. Pearl Bailey and Louie Bellson toured extensively for the USO in the early 1970s, bringing American jazz and swing to U.S. servicemembers stationed in Europe. Flyers with Pan Am’s sponsorship mark are increasingly scarce. Perfect for collectors of Pearl Bailey, Louie Bellson, USO memorabilia, or vintage jazz posters.
No returns accepted. Due to the unique nature of this vintage collectible, all sales are final. Please review photos and description carefully before purchase.
