🛠️ The Process – How This Artwork is Made:

  1. Marble Selection: High-quality Makrana marble is cut into round shapes.

  2. Design Sketching: Patterns are drawn by hand using red henna.

  3. Stone Cutting: Semi-precious stones are hand-cut using emery wheels into intricate shapes—petals, leaves, stars.

  4. Cavity Making: Artisans use diamond & tungsten carbide chisels to carve exact grooves into the marble.

  5. Fitting & Fixing: Stones are carefully placed and secured using traditional adhesives.

  6. Polishing: Surface is polished using sandstone, sandpaper, and wax for a gleaming finish.

✨ Did you know? This is the same technique used in decorating the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
