The area‘s history and archaeology are covered, together with many of the buildings, villages and areas, including Port Sunlight, Leasowe Lighthouse and Hilbre Island. 

There are 219pp text & illustrations, together with a frontispiece, a further 55 plates and a folded map at the back as called for. 

The pages are gold blocked to the top and the fore and bottom edges are untrimmed. The contents are good with slight spotting to the end papers and occasionally and the covers have slight knocking, marking and a slight  cant. 1.000
