Fine bone china commemorative pin dish by Crown Staffordshire (England). Black transfer illustration of the yacht “Gipsy Moth IV” with gilt rim and circular legend: “In commemoration of the solo circumnavigation of the world by Sir Francis Chichester in Gipsy Moth IV 1966–1967.” Backstamp: Crown Staffordshire, Fine Bone China, England – An Exclusive Design (see photos). A classic piece of British sailing history—Chichester completed his record-setting solo circumnavigation in 1966–67 and was knighted the following year.

Condition

Pre-owned vintage piece in good order. Clean glaze; no cracks or repairs. Light age-related wear to the gold rim and minor shelf wear to the foot. Old price-sticker residue on the base (left as found). Please inspect photos for exact condition.
