Product Description

The GiroDisc A1-185 Slotted 2-Piece Rotor Set is designed as a direct replacement for the OEM front rotors on the 2018–2021 Subaru WRX STI (VA). These rotors are engineered to bolt directly to the vehicle without any modifications, ensuring compatibility with the factory brake system.

Constructed with a two-piece design, the A1-185 rotors feature a cast iron braking surface paired with a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center hat. This configuration reduces unsprung weight by approximately 4 lbs per rotor compared to stock units, enhancing acceleration and suspension response. The slotted design improves heat dissipation and reduces brake fade, making them suitable for both street and track use.

Installation is straightforward, utilizing the existing OEM calipers and hardware. The floating rotor system, secured with high-strength alloy steel drive pins, allows for thermal expansion while maintaining rotor alignment. This setup ensures consistent braking performance under demanding conditions.

Please note that these rotors are not compatible with the Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) brake systems. For vehicles equipped with CCM brakes, alternative rotor options are required.
