Product Description

The COMP Cams 201‑303‑17 Stage 2 HRT Hydraulic Roller Camshaft is engineered to deliver strong mid‑range torque and horsepower improvements for vehicles using Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep Gen III HEMI engines with VVT. Optimized for a wide 1900–7000 RPM range, this Stage 2 grind produces improved drivability and performance compared to OEM camshafts, while still maintaining manageable idle characteristics. It’s an excellent choice for enthusiasts seeking balanced street performance without resorting to extreme cam profiles.

This camshaft works with both 5.7L and 6.4L HEMI V8 engines equipped with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) from 2009 through 2019. For proper installation and performance, the VVT phaser must be limited or locked using a compatible limiter/lock kit and suitable non‑MDS lifters must be used. Because it increases valve lift relative to stock, the recommended companion valve spring kits are required to ensure stable valvetrain operation at higher RPMs.
