Vintage medium-size "melon tester" knife manufactured in the 1970th by Colonial Cutlery in Providence, RI, USA as an advertising item for Dole PLC. Interesting "Dole Fresh Vegetables" marked fruit tester knife - most of these "melon lnives are simply marked with the "short" DOLE logo.
The knife is only slightly used; it is about 8-1/2" / 21.5 cm fully opened; mirror-polished stainless steel blade is about 3-5/8" / 9.2 cm; the blade opens and closes with a sharp snap. Original factory edge is razor-sharp; the tip is intact. This "melon knife" is in excellent overall condition, considering the age.

 

The knife has not been cleaned or tampered with in any way, 100% original condition; these are the actual photos. We combine shipping for up to 3 similar lots; will ship within 24 hrs of the cleared payment. Buyers must be over 18 years of age. No shipping to the UK or Ireland for this item, sorry lads.

We combine shipping for knives/tools purchased within 3 days; there is a nominal charge for each additional lot (please see Shipping & Handling tab for details). Unless specified otherwise, returns are accepted within 30 days of the purchase. Buyers must notify us prior to return. Original S&H fees are non-refundable, unless we did not describe the item correctly.
