Authentic vintage Marimekko fabric “Appelsiini” (meaning orange) designed by Maija Isola in 1950, reissued by Marimekko in 2003. A striking Scandinavian mid-century design featuring bold stylized citrus slices in mustard yellow, olive green, and dark teal on white.

Printed on high-quality 100% cotton, this fabric is ideal for wall hangings, pillow covers, quilting, curtains, crafts, or retro-modern home decor.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The fabric has previously hemmed edges but is free from stains, holes, or damage.

Vintage Fabric Care & Safety Guide

Caring for Your Vintage Fabrics:

Store fabrics in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to preserve color and strength.

Gently hand wash in cool water with mild soap only if necessary. Avoid wringing or twisting.

Lay flat to dry on a clean towel.

Do not dry fabrics in the microwave.

If ironing is needed, use the lowest heat setting and place a cloth between the fabric and iron.

Safety Notes:

Always inspect vintage fabrics before use — some may be delicate due to age.

Allow fabrics to air out if they have a vintage scent.

Keep small pieces out of reach of children and pets.
