This is a uniquely beautiful French carriage clock with hand painted glass panels. It is a third quarter 19th century engraved, repeating carriage timepiece. The clock features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze and enameled glass construction that shows two painted nude women on the sides of the and the clock. The face shows Roman numerals with a nude woman laying below the second hand. The clock mechanism is marked 'Made in France' underneath the bell. The condition of this mantle clock shows some light patina to the clock. The measurements of this mantle clock is 8" x 4" x 3 1/4". The collective weight of this mantle clock is 4lb 6oz.
