Hardwire Cable for Parking Mode

Parking mode provides surveillance for your parked vehicle. When the engine is off, the hardwire cable is used to provide continuous power and protect your car battery from discharge.

The HK6 features a modular design with detachable input and output cables. This plug-in connection allows for easier cable routing during installation and makes future upgrades or replacements hassle-free—no need to rewire or remove existing cables.

Automatic Voltage Display

The HK6 features an always-on Bluetooth broadcast that transmits the car battery voltage—no pairing or user interaction required. Your dashcam automatically searches for the HK6’s signal, reads the voltage, and displays it on the recorded video for real-time monitoring.

Seamless Parking Mode Switching

With ACC detection, the dash cam seamlessly enters parking mode when the vehicle’s engine is turned off and resumes normal recording once the vehicle is started.

Hybrid Parking Mode for A329S Series

The HK6 Hardwire Cable supports Hybrid Parking Mode for the A329S Series, automatically switching between normal parking recording and Low-Power Impact Detection mode based on “Cut-off Voltage” and “Cut-off Time” setting.

*To ensure proper operation, we recommend setting the “Cut-off Voltage” slightly higher than the value selected on the hardwire cable.

Battery Discharge Prevention

The HK6 Hardwire Cable provides continuous power to your dashcam in parking mode until your car battery voltage drops to the configured threshold.

Configurable Voltage Cut-off

VIOFO HK6 Hardwire Cable offers 4 voltage cut-off options. When the vehicle’s battery voltage drops to the selected threshold, the HK6 stops supplying power to the dashcam, helping prevent battery discharge.

Ultra-Low Power Consumption

The HK6 Hardwire Cable offers ultra-low power consumption (≤300uA) when the dashcam is turned off, ensuring extended parking monitoring without significant vehicle battery discharge. When paired with the A329S Series, the Low Power Impact Detection parking mode continues to monitor your vehicle with minimal energy draw:
·Standby/Sleep Mode: Only 0.24W (20mA at 12V)

12V / 24V Compatible

The HK6 Hardwire Cable connects the camera directly to cars, trucks, buses, SUVs, or big rigs for continuous power. It accepts voltage from any vehicle running on 12–24V.
