Here's a large, early and uncommon Ferron Detector made by J.J. Duck in Toledo, Ohio. Mounted on a thick, bevel-edged marble base, it's a robust, highly adjustable instrument made at a time when radio reception was still quite mysterious to most people -- the province of experimenters who were regarded not unlike witch doctors and alchemists had been regarded before them.
Condition is excellent, as you can see in the photographs.
