A nice example of this scarce imitation sterling struck at Mons in the final decade of the 13th century. A distinctive type with "rosary crown". Worn but reasonably well detailed. Weight 1.32g. Listed in Mayhew, Sterling Imitations Of Edwardian Type as Mayhew 34.
