The ARP 204-4103 Pro Series Head Stud Kit brings motorsport-grade reliability to the 1.8T 20-valve engines found in popular VW and Audi models from 2000 through 2006. Constructed from high-strength 8740 chromoly alloy and treated to ~200,000 psi tensile strength, each stud is cold-forged, heat-treated, and thread-rolled to deliver exceptional durability and fatigue resistance. The 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers guarantee even clamping force and ease of installation, while the black oxide finish improves corrosion protection.
Purpose-designed for the tight packaging of the 06A engine head, this kit does not include a removal/installation tool but simplifies assembly while preserving precise head alignment. It includes ARP Moly assembly lube to achieve accurate torque preload. Fitment is verified for models up to 2006—**2025 coverage is unconfirmed at time of listing**. No known fitment exclusions. Ideal for performance builds, turbo upgrades, or reliable OEM-style rebuilds.
