Tascam 234 4-track Cassette Player/Recorder. For Parts Or Repair.

Powers up, but transport mechanism doesn’t engage. Pressing play, FF or Rewind accomplishes nothing. Won’t even give you a token “click” just to get your hopes up. Comes with original owner’s manual, and reproduction schematic and service manual. Service history is unknown, but comes with a bag of replaced parts and a motor, indicating a recap and/or other major service work. However this is NOT guaranteed to be the case and the operating condition of the spare motor is unknown. Feeling lucky?
