SYNOPSIS:
Kumiko Oumae enters Kitauji High School hoping to move on from her past. But her plans for a fresh beginning are quickly sidetracked when her new friends, Sapphire Kawashima and Hazuki Katou, persuade her to join the school’s struggling band club—pulling her back into playing the euphonium.
The band is far from competition-ready, lacking the skill and unity needed even for a local event like Sunfest. Their new advisor, Noboru Taki, presents them with two options: treat the club as a casual hobby or train seriously with the goal of reaching the national stage. Kumiko, still unsure due to her past experiences in middle school, is torn about whether aiming for nationals is the right path. Things become even more complicated when she finds out that Reina Kousaka, a former bandmate with whom she shares a tense history, is now in the same club. Faced with Taki's tough leadership and their own personal conflicts, Kumiko and the rest of the band must push through their struggles to grow stronger and chase success together.
