The Masterclass line represented the pinnacle of Church’s craftsmanship — designed for discerning buyers looking for elegance, comfort, and durability. Made on traditional lasts with outstanding leather and finishing.
Masterclass - the premium range within Church’s footwear line. These shoes are typically:
Made to a higher specification than the standard Church’s range.
Often use finer leather, more hand-finishing, and traditional construction methods.
In some cases, closer in style and quality to bespoke or semi-bespoke shoemaking.

|---|---|

Masterclass shoes typically retailed well above standard Church’s, often £600–£900+ when new.
They are less commonly available — sometimes released as limited editions or sold only at flagship stores.
They are sought-after by collectors, especially older models made pre-Prada acquisition.
Many enthusiasts prefer pre-1999 Masterclass shoes — made when Church’s was still family-owned.
Post-Prada Masterclass models still maintain high quality but may use slightly different lasts or styling, often reflecting more fashion-forward Italian influences.

Foot and Shoe size how to measure what’s right for you
The sizes of the left and right feet are often slightly different. Purchase a shoe size based upon the larger foot.
Add 17 mm or 0.7 of an inch to foot size - that is the internal length for you!
There is a fair amount of give here so 15 to 20 mm will be fine 0.6 to 0.8 inches – better larger than smaller so if in doubt go bigger!
