If no one notices the earrings you thoughtfully chose to go with your outfit, it begs the question “why not?” Not being able to afford gem-embellished jewelry, I would prowl the costume jewelry sections of various department stores looking for earrings that would get noticed. When I didn’t find any I thought would do the job, I decided to make my own.

And what fun that turned out to be.  I don’t claim to have a particular design style. Lots of different things have inspired me over the years. I made what struck my fancy. Now that I am retired, I seldom wear earrings, so I am setting them free.

Because I made so many pairs, none of them were worn many times. Nevertheless, I will replace the ear wires with new wires if and when they sell, and tend to any needed touch ups. Expect some patina on some of the metal components.
