Item description:

Up for sale is SWAN 6242 fountain pen in blue marble. This pen was made in ENGLAND dates back to the 40's. The pen is very well preserved and can fit as a valuable addition which would grace any collection. Sold for repair because of missing nib and needs ink sac (bladder), which is a nice and easy restoration project for beginners and few minutes for more experienced people.

This pen "brother" model 5262 with chrome trims is also listed for sale on time of listing.

This pen benefits from being ultrasonically cleaned. It was disassembled, fully inspected and cleaned.

 

 

No major issues or imperfections being noted as dents/cracks /dings/scratches/brassing/shading/discoloration/plating wear or engraving/ personalization/tarnish. Rolled gold caps, clips and trims. The golden trims have no signs of ruinous oxidation or rust. Sold for repair because of missing nib and needs ink sac (bladder).

 

The pen has all its original parts. It has the original imprint in very good readable condition deep and crisp. The barrel and cap markings are easy to read. They were not polished or cleaned to keep clear crisp imprint manufacturers original engravings.

Photos are part of the sale, and are exactly what will be delivered, nothing similar or anything else from the real item in photos. Please study them carefully as they form a significant part of the description.

Payment:

Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end. If payment is not received within 3 days none paying bidder alerts will be issued automatically after that time, and the item will be relisted.

Your Item will be sent by registered mail, after payment is confirmed. A tracking number will be uploaded to e-bay.

Normally handling time is just up to2 days. I ship worldwide only by registered signed for postage. Most of sent items arrive within 20 working days, but please be patient: customs & holidays are only few of the reasons for delay. You will receive tracking number as your item is sent – will be uploaded on E-BAY.
