Mother Flo Vandyke is the heart of the boat and the queen of swimming lessons. Whether she's steering the Rose of Sylvania or teaching little Sylvanians to paddle safely, Flo believes everyone should enjoy the water. Her motto? "Splashes are fun, but safety comes first!"

Brother Brook Vandyke is the family’s little explorer, always sniffing out mysteries (sometimes literally). He’s not naughty… just very curious. (Though his sister might say he’s just nosy.) One time, he even got stuck in a jar all in the name of discovery.

Sister Spring Vandyke is the artistic soul of the family. From painting pretty patterns on buckets to dreaming up grand designs, she turns their boat into a floating masterpiece. Inspired by her famous great-great-grandfather, she hopes to be a legendary artist one day just like Michael Angelo Vandyke.
