Although the Salt 1 earned an extremely devoted following, since it was based on the third-generation Delica, it lacked some of the design improvements that make the Delica 4 even better. So, consistent with our obsession with Constant Quality Improvement (C.Q.I.), we revamped the design to create the Salt 2. It combines all the salient features of the Delica 4 Lightweight model with the corrosion-resistant advantages of H-1 steel. These include enhanced ergonomics, a high-traction Bi-Directional Texturing pattern on the handle, and a black-coated titanium pocket clip that supports left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry.
