The helmet was clean, just sitting in storage but I know how I like to receive stuff so I steamed the interior pads after disinfecting.  The chin strap has no tears or cracks and is not dried out,  that would be uncomfortable, the inside pads are clean and no tears or stains.

I hope this saves you some $$.  It's one size fits all (for all through high-school)

SHIPPING - due to tricky size weight tiers - to keep postage as low as possible, it's almost just going to be a helmet in a new bag in a fitting box.  It is a helmet after all ;) . I note this because I usually try to package things with a bit of class but in this case the additional dimensions to bubble wrap in a bigger box does not make any sense.    It'll be safe, and I just want to let you know that I care about getting items to buyers safetly and sensibly.

I'm listing a lifetime it seems, - everything from helmets to jerseys, hats, apparel and sporting goods for every sport especially hockey all the way back to youth from adult the whole bags. Golf, soccer, soccer cards, sportscards, trading cards,  archery, swimming, lacrosse, baseball, football, soccer, cornhole, fishing, hiking? Etc and women's as well as boys/ men in adult sizes.

I like to ship same day or next and I deliver to a USPS Regional Hub daily (and Logan Airport). This makes it one step closer and therefore faster to being snug in your mailbox - orders coming in late Friday or early Sat need to be @ USPS by noon and that is not always possible as I coach and have a family (I'd say 3 out of 4 weekends I can get them there in time Sat.)  but if not will go Monday.
