It has bespoke strap made by Casa Fagliano exclusively for JLC leather strap with an 18k rose gold ardillon buckle and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The rare Tribute Tobacco Brown dial features a rectangular subsidiary small seconds dial with a rectangular constant small seconds dial, and a rose gold indicator hand at the 6 o'clock position. "Vintage" style rose gold baton shaped, index & Arabic Numeral hour markers. The 27.5mm X 46mm incl. lugs (38mm not including lugs) solid five-body rectangular art-nouveau tonneau-style case, rounded and striated art deco style bezel, and straight lugs are polished and brushed.

This Jaeger LeCoultre Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute 1931 18kt Rose Gold Q2782560 has a mechanical manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre Caliber 822/2 movement, with fausses cotes and engine-turned embellishment. It's constructed with 21 jewels, 134 components, and a shock absorber device. It includes a straight-line lever escapement, a monometallic balance that's adjusted to 5 positions, and a self-compensating flat balance spring. The mechanism oscillates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).

The name says it all, measuring in at an impressive 7.2mm thin (including the carriage & watch case) compared with 9.2mm of the original. This beautiful & elegant Reverso is extremely comfortable to wear & is an instant classic.

The Grande Reverso Ultra Thin 1931 is characterized by its slender 7.3mm thick case and traditional gadroons framing the dial in pink gold, harmoniously contrasting with the glowing chocolate shade of the watch face. The soft pink gold case measures up to the size of the Grande Reverso, being bold on the wrist despite its slenderness with dimensions of 46.8mm by 27.4mm.

Apart from the 12 o’clock numeral, the hours are shown by baton-shaped hour-markers (both luminous), while the hour and minute hands feature a dagger-type profile, plated with pink gold. The small seconds at 6 o’clock perform a once a minute rotation on the dedicated rectangular subdial. The ‘REVERSO’ inscription above it is a reproduction of the early inscriptions on the vintage model.

Referring to the historical relationship with polo, Jaeger-LeCoultre asked Argentinian polo bootmaker Casa Fagliano (established in 1892 in Buenos Aires, the worldwide polo capital), to create a matching strap. The hand-crafted cordovan leather strap comes with a pink gold pin buckle.

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of this timepiece, Jaeger-LeCoultre created the Grande Reverso Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931, inspired by the aesthetic codes of the historical model, yet with contemporary dimensions.
