Titanium battery heat shield is made by different heat protection materials. It reflects over 90% of radiant heat, traps and neutralizes battery acid and protects against corrosion.
Batteries are very susceptible to heat and vibration that could cause premature failure and hazardous leaks. The shield will absorb and neutralise any damaging leaky battery acids.
Always order a slightly larger diameter for your intended application to allow for ease of installation and to give enough clearance for bends.
