This kit is an odd mix of new and used parts. The handleset looks brand new. The hardware package is factory sealed. But the strike plate and face plate are clearly used. If you scrape off the white paint, they will probably look fine.
The Universal Hardware Privacy function has an interior locking mechanism for added privacy and can be unlocked from the exterior in case of an emergency. Designed with a tubular chassis for commercial or residential applications. It meets or exceeds ANSI Grade 2 standards. It has a 3-hour UL fire rating and is ADA compliant.
