Radar Parking with the Radar Module

Unlock enhanced parking protection by adding the optional radar module. This enables Radar Parking, which uses low-power front radar to monitor motion, delivering extended surveillance with minimal power consumption. When a motion is detected by the Radar Module, the dash cam wakes up and gets ready to record.

If an impact is detected, a 20-second video (10 seconds before and 10 seconds after the impact) is saved in a dedicated folder on the MicroSD card. When no impacts are detected, the dash cam does not save the footage and resumes Energy Saving Mode.

Note:

– Parking Surveillance mode requires a Hardwiring Cable or OBD-II Power Cable and installation (professional installation recommended).

– The distance and degree of detection can be different depending on the environment and other factors.

– Not every object is guaranteed to be detected.

– THINWKARE CONNECTED features are unavailable in Radar Parking Mode as all network data functions are turned off to reduce power consumption.

Smart Parking Mode 1.0

This feature prevents heat-related damage by automatically switching the U1000 Plus to a low-power mode if the temperature inside the vehicle gets too high during parking surveillance*

*It requires a hardwiring cable accessory (included) and installation (professional installation is recommended) or a THINKWARE OBD II cable accessory.

Energy Saving Mode 2.0

Conserves power by recording only when impacts are detected, allowing the dash cam to remain in Parking Mode for extended periods.

Time Lapse

Time Lapse records footage at 2fps, allowing the dash cam to capture extended periods of uninterrupted video without a significant increase in power consumption.

Easy Wi-Fi Device Pairing

Hassle-free dash cam pairing with your compatible Android or iOS device via the THINKWARE DASH CAM LINK App. Once paired, adjust your dash cam’s settings or replay and download your latest driving videos on the go.

Dual-band Wi-Fi

Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)

Alerts the driver when the vehicle in front has started to move when the driver is at a full stop

Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS)
