The Valiant was introduced by Chrysler in the compact car category
to rival the Corvair and Falcon. Reaction to the styling was ambivalent
but all agreed that the engine and transmission were good.
A Station Wagon was introduced the following year. By 1962 there
were seven models with many improvements under the skin including
a larger petrol tank. This is a book of contemporary road test, technical
and specification data, model introductions, drivers' impressions,
long-term tests, racing. Models covered include:- V200 Station Wagon,
V200, Signet 200, 170, S Automatic, R & S Series.
