ORIGINAL, RARE & MINT Condition M1912 Uniform (Size 40L blouse; Size 34 pants)

​This is an ORIGINAL, RARE & MINT condition M1912 wool uniform, as issued to Doughboys early in WWI.  The blouse or tunic is a true size 40 LONG chest with the paper tag still sewn inside the neck of the blouse (see image).  Inside the lower right lining is a QM tag with a July 1918 date (see close-up image).  The blouse is in pristine condition despite its 106-year age, with all buttons "present and accounted for" in the original blackened color.  The brown wool color is VERY strong, as shown in the non-flash images.  The actual measurements of the blouse are as follows:  Chest 20"; Sleeve length 25"; Shoulders 17"; Waist: 18"; and overall length 34".

The blouse is matched with a VERY GOOD+ pair of breeches in wool fabric.  The breeches still have a legible QM sewn to the underside of the right hip pocket, showing an October 1917 date of manufacture (see image above).  The actual measurements of the breeches are as follows"  Waist 34"; Inseam 25" (remember these are breeches which only go to mid-calf due to the wear of either puttees or leggings); Hips 26"; and Overall length 38".  Again, all buttons are present, including the zinc metal buttons at the fly.  The only blemish is light soiling of the lining of the pants.
